Newcomb Cleveland Prize

Der Newcomb Cleveland Prize ist eine annähernd jedes Jahr vergebene Auszeichnung der American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) für herausragende Veröffentlichungen in der Fachzeitschrift der AAAS, Science. Zunächst ab 1923 als AAAS Thousand Dollar Prize bezeichnet, wurde die Auszeichnung 1951 nach dem Tod des bis dahin anonymen Stifters, Newcomb Cleveland, nach diesem benannt.

Der Preis wird auf der Jahrestagung der AAAS verliehen und ist (Stand 2015) mit 25.000 US-Dollar dotiert. Die Preisträger erhielten bis 2021 zusätzlich eine Medaille aus Bronze. Aktueller Sponsor (Stand 2015) ist der Fodor Family Trust.
