Der Newcomb Cleveland Prize ist eine annahernd jedes Jahr vergebene Auszeichnung der American Association for the Advancement of Science AAAS fur herausragende Veroffentlichungen in der Fachzeitschrift der AAAS Science Zunachst ab 1923 als AAAS Thousand Dollar Prize bezeichnet wurde die Auszeichnung 1951 nach dem Tod des bis dahin anonymen Stifters Newcomb Cleveland nach diesem benannt Der Preis wird auf der Jahrestagung der AAAS verliehen und ist Stand 2015 mit 25 000 US Dollar dotiert Die Preistrager erhielten bis 2021 zusatzlich eine Medaille aus Bronze Aktueller Sponsor
