Beyoncé und Eminem führen die Nominierungsliste mit je sieben Nominierungen an.

Das Kunststück, in einem Jahr mit je zwei Videos nominiert zu sein, gelang David Lee Roth (1985), U2 (1988) und Lady Gaga (2010).

Doja Cat war 2021 die erste Nominierte in dieser Kategorie, die gleichzeitig die Veranstaltung moderierte.
